This project is a digital ethnography and archival repository dedicated to documenting and analyzing the South Asian diaspora. It seeks to preserve cultural memory while critically examining the intersections of migration, identity, and belonging.

The archive consolidates materials across three mediums—audio, literary, and visual—providing a multidisciplinary record of diasporic experience. Oral histories and sound recordings foreground lived testimony; literary works encompass both ethnographic writing and creative texts; visual materials capture the aesthetics of displacement and cultural continuity.

By presenting these narratives in an integrated format, the project engages with questions central to diaspora studies: How are identities negotiated across borders? In what ways do memory and tradition evolve when transmitted transnationally? What forms of hybridity, resistance, and cultural production emerge from displacement?

Rather than a static collection, this archive functions as a dynamic and evolving site of research. It aims to support scholarly inquiry, foster community engagement, and contribute to ongoing conversations about migration, transnationalism, and cultural preservation.
